Working on digitalization projects at UBS, I observed how our operating model and lack of digital capabilities hindered our ability to win in a local market. My career ambition is to empower international organizations like UBS and help them thrive in locations originally beyond their reach.

Post-MBA, I want to transition into digital technology-focused management consulting for the financial sector after attending Tepper. I am excited to join companies such as Kearney or Accenture, to lead digital strategies and deploy new technologies for large-scale financial institutions in the U.S., so they can effectively compete against the fintech industry’s rapid disruption with innovative solutions like digital customer journey designs and analytics-driven risk management. I will then bring my experience back to Asia, where I can leverage my knowledge in scaling new technologies to help international banks regain the upper hand through digital and agile innovation as a partner in a consulting firm.

What other role would you consider? In other words, what is your Plan B?

Passionate in helping organizations accelerate their digital capabilities, I am also interested in attaining a product manager role in a leading technology or software company, where I can develop products and solutions to help corporations strengthen their business through automation, analytics, and data management. I am especially keen to join companies like Microsoft or Amazon, where I can leverage the company’s expansive digital capabilities and deep expertise serving the financial industry to create the best products and experiences for my customers.
