Imperial College London | MS in Economics and Strategy for Business | Short-Term Career Goals
Please describe your short term (3 year) career goals (200 words).
My short term career goal is to enter an international bank as a management associate. In order to put my learning into practice, I would like to be involved in a range of projects covering the implementation of business strategies. In addition, I hope to devote my studies toward international financial market, which is capricious nowadays. Through the tough job training and work rotation within different departments, I believe in this position I will be thoroughly familiar with the operation of banks and learn advanced knowledge in global economy and finance. To achieve my goals, I need to make myself qualified in the job market by working in the actual environment. After graduating from university, I entered Bank of Taiwan to cultivate basic banking knowledge. Meanwhile, I’ve kept learning English and Japanese because these languages are crucial important for conducting international business and constructing global networks. Now, I have gained solid abilities in banking practice and languages, and then I plan to strengthen my economic understanding through your program and equip the innovative strategic thinking, which will ensure my competition in my future career.
